Sports Medicine

We are fortunate to have Dr. Janie Isenhour at Triad Pediatrics as she is board certified in pediatrics and sports medicine. She is able to evaluate and treat sports related injuries.

One of her passions is helping athletes prevent injuries, recover from injuries, and achieve their full potential as student athletes. Below is a list of areas that Dr. Janie is able to manage in our office:

  • Chronic overuse injuries
  • Acute injuries and (most) fractures
  • Casting and splinting
  • Concussions
  • Growing pains
  • Pediatric limp

Dr. Janie only takes care of non-surgical injuries and problems. If you have a question as to whether or not an evaluation with Dr. Janie would be appropriate for your child, please give us a call and we will be happy to assist further.

Nutrition

We are excited to have Heather Martin on our provider team. Not only is she a Certified Physician Assistant with over ten years of pediatric experience, she is also a Registered Dietician as well. Is your child a picky eater? Do you ever have trouble coming up with healthy snack ideas? Would eating out guidelines and on-the-go options be helpful when deciding how to feed your family in a healthy manner? What about regular exercise recommendations and strategies for limiting screen time and increasing active time? These are just a few of the benefits you will gain from a nutrition consult appointment.

These appointments can be a one-time appointment or more frequent and regular to allow for follow-up, accountability, and goal setting. In addition, your child and family may benefit from periodic nutrition classes offered by Heather.

Please call our office to schedule a nutrition consult with Heather or to learn more about these specific services.

Multilingual

Melina is one of our Physician Assistants that recently joined the team at Triad Pediatrics. Melina minored in Spanish at Harding University. She has used her Spanish speaking skills while serving on many short-term mission trips in Guatemala. She is excited to be able to serve our Spanish speaking patients and families at Triad Pediatrics.
